Children’s Show at Peterborough Players
Puss In Boots
Peterborough, NH (August 10, 2011) – The Peterborough Players presents its final children’s show of the season, Puss In Boots, music and lyrics by Ellen Mandel, book by Kathleen Menino. This classic fairy tale comes to life with song and dance, and is suitable for ages 8 through 99! Grandparents and grandchildren alike will enjoy this musical comedy fable, which plays for four matinees and one evening performance: 2PM Aug. 20, 23, 26 & 27; 7PM Aug. 22.
Puss In Boots tells the tale of a hilarious, human-sized feline in footwear who tries to outwit his master, a king, and a hungry ogre. Toe-tapping music promises to make this 75-minute play a delightful performance for all ages to enjoy. Puss In Boots is performed by the Players’ Second Company of interns and apprentices, who are available to sign autographs and take photos with the children in the lobby or on the patio after each performance. Second Company shows are priced to encourage family attendance, and families may use the Players’ grounds to picnic before or after the show.
