Ascending Stars Project: I Remember Mama

Adapted from Kathy Forbes' Mama's Bank Account. Some of the area’s best high school actors will work alongside professional actors Kathy Manfre, Ken Sheldon, and Michael Dell’Orto and be directed by Artistic Director Gus Kaikkonen. I Remember Mama is a heartwarming study of American family life in the early 1900s with unforgettable characters who will charm and delight you.

Set in San Francisco in the home of a Norwegian immigrant family, this series of vignettes chronicles the comic trials and tribulations of raising a family with Mama at the helm. Audiences may also remember the film and television versions of this beloved story.Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students/children.
