Carmen Decker (Grace
In Grace and Glorie,
Delta in Solidarity)
played Mrs. Levi in The Matchmaker and Emily in Greetings!
for the Players in 1996 and returned in 2001 to play Ruth
in Collected Stories. Last season she played She
in About Time and Daisy in Laughing Stock.
She has worked extensively at the BoarsHead Theatre in Lansing,
Mich., where she has appeared in some 90 productions, most
recently, Over the Tavern. Some other roles include
Sister Mary in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For
You and Grace in Grace and Glorie, for which
she received Detroit's Best Actress Award. She has appeared
Off-Broadway in Palace of Amateurs and at other regional
theatres including GeVa Theatre, Riverside Theatre, Cherry
County Playhouse, Madison Repertory, and Victory Gardens,
where she received Chicago's Joseph Jefferson Award for Best
Actress in Clara's Play. (2005)
