Tammy
Killian Tammy Killian
is currently on leave of absence as Artistic Director at theatre
louisiana college. This past year at Louisiana College Tammy
directed West Side Story and Our Town. During
the year Tammy played the title role in Medea and
Marjorie in Extremeties. A native of Alabama, she
received her B.F.A. in Theatre/Art from Birmingham-Southern
College and her M.F.A. in Acting from Florida Atlantic University.
Favorite roles include Natasha in The Three Sisters,
Agnes in A Bright Room Called Day, Miranda in The
Tempest, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing,
Rosalind in As You Like It, and Rachel in Reckless.
Favorite directing credits include Sleuth, Around the
World in 80 Days and West Side Story. Tammy
worked as a Scenic, Lighting, and Sound designer for seven
years before moving into the performance area. Favorite Design
credits include The Search For Signs of Inteligent Life
In The Universe (twice, both directed by Gus Kaikkonen),
The Ballad of Sad Cafe, In Perpetuity, Throughout
the Universe, Into The Woods, and Romeo And Juliet.
