Michael Kimmel and Lisa Weinshrott. Lisa and Michael are excited to be designing at Peterborough this summer. They have been designing lights together for the past two years. They have spent the past two summers at Millbrook Playhouse where they co-designed lights and Lisa stage-managed. Recent credits include: Finding the Words, Veins and Thumbtacks, Santa Claus is Coming Out (NYC), My Fair Lady (Surflight Theatre), A Midsummer Night's Dream, Rash Acts (UW-Fond du Lac), Wizard of Oz (West Virginia Public Theatre), Ain't Misbehavin' (national tour, Dir. Ken Page), The Laramie Project, Children of Eden (nominated Papermill Playhouse Rising Star, Westfield High School). Before meeting Lisa, Michael received his Bachelor’s from UC-Santa Barbara and has been designing lights for ten years. He has designed for theatre, dance and concerts. Before meeting Michael, Lisa lived in WI. Besides lighting, she enjoys working in other areas of theatre as well. Her most recent non-lighting project was directing and choreographing a national tour of Sleeping Beauty. (2003)
