Junko Yamada (Resident Lighting Designer for
Grace and Glorie,
Lettice and Lovage;
Master Electrician) has been designing stage lighting since
2000, when she was a student at SUNY Buffalo, where she designed
for the major dance program. Since coming to Virginia Tech to
pursue in MFA in stage lighting, she has designed 14 productions,
and has assisted on two new Ping Chong works designed by her
graduate program advisor. She recently served as an intern for
Deb Sullivan at Actors Theatre of Louisville and John Ambrosone
at Trinity Repertory Company. (2005)
