Stop and Shop has joined returning underwriters Monadnock Paper Mills, Northern Bus Sales, and the Keene Sentinel in sponsoring the 2004 Peterborough Players season. "We are very happy to welcome Stop and Shop to our list of returning sponsors, whose long-standing support speaks volumes about their commitment not only to the Players but also to the community," said Robert Pettegrew, President-Elect of the Players Board of Trustees.

Stop and Shop will co-sponsor FULLY COMMITTED, the first play of the 2004 season, running from June 16 - June 27. Monadnock Paper Mills will be the full sponsor for ABOUT TIME, a comedy-drama starring James Whitmore running from June 30 - July 18. Northern Bus Sales, who was a co-sponsor in 2003, moves up to be the full sponsor of COOKIN’ AT THE COOKERY, a
musical running from August 18 - September 5. The Keene Sentinel, a co-sponsor in 2003, also moves up to be the full Media Sponsor in 2004.

Sponsorships and co-sponsorships of the subscription series productions of LAUGHING STOCK (running from July 21 - August 1), THE RETURN OF THE PRODIGAL (running from August 4 - August 15), and THE GLASS MENAGERIE (running from September 8 - September 19), as well as the two Second Company plays for children and families are still available.
