Players Open the Barn on July 9, 2005!
June 29, 2005 The award-winning Peterborough Players is celebrating 72 years of artistic achievement and the one of the most supportive subscriber bases of any theater in New England by throwing their doors open to the public for an Open Barn on Saturday, July 9 from 1pm to 4pm at the theatre, 55 Hadley Rd. Come discover how the theatre works on all facets of performance - scenic and properties construction, costumes, lighting, sound, and even administration. The Open House will feature refreshments, tours of the theatre, and an opportunity to observe an Inherit the Wind rehearsal featuring James Whitmore. The day will be a festive and fun way of saying 'thank you' for all the overwhelming support received over the years. The renowned non-profit theatre company has been in existence since 1933 and is dedicated to excellence and to creating a warm relationship with the community. The Peterborough Players is sponsored in part by the New Hampshire State
Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the New Hampshire
Humanities Council, and the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Charitable Foundation. The
2005 Media Sponsor is the Keene Sentinel. |
