Return To Do TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE June 11, 2006 Contact: The Peterborough Players will open their 2006 season (as well as their newly renovated theatre space) with the acclaimed play, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, June 21 – July 9 and the production will star James Whitmore as Morrie, and his son James Whitmore Jr. as Mitch. Co-authored by Mitch Albom and Jeffrey Hatcher, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE is the autobiographical story of Mitch and Morrie, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career and his former college professor. The production will be directed by Players Artistic Director Gus Kaikkonen. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie's appearance

Lou Gehrig's Disease. They are reunited and what starts as a simple visit
becomes a weekly pilgrimage and finally a last class in the meaning of
life. The Peterborough Players is sponsored in part by the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Charitable Foundation. The 2006 Media Sponsor is the Keene Sentinel. Season subscriptions are now on sale at the Players Box Office.
