The 2008 75th Anniversary Season promises to be memorable, and you can share the excitement!  Pending availability, our summer season will include James Whitmore in Thornton Wilder’s classic Our Town; David Howard (from last season’s Visiting Mr. Green) in Nobody Don’t Like Yogi, a play about baseball great Yogi Berra; the hilarious comedy Stones In His Pockets; the Pulitzer and Tony Award winning drama Doubt; and three other mainstage plays along with two Second Company plays for families.  For just $75, your friends, family, employees, or business associates can enjoy a pair of seats at any Players performance they choose during the 2008 summer season.  Or, for $180, you can treat them to a Barn Door Pass, which gives them six seats to use throughout the season.  Either way, there’s no worry about colors, styles, or sizes.  They pick the show.  They pick the performance.  You just sit back, relax, and leave the heavy lifting to old St. Nick.

To commemorate the 75th Anniversary, we are pleased to offer Our Playhouse – 75 Years of the Peterborough Players, an entertaining and comprehensive history of the Players from its beginnings in 1933 to the present day.  Written by Van Allen Sherman and full of photos and memories, Our Playhouse is the perfect gift for the Players lover on your list.

We also offer two ways to etch your name or that of a loved one in Players’ history.  For $250, a plaque with your inscription will be affixed to a seat.  Only 40 seats remain – your inscription will be one of only 238!  For $75, a brick with your inscription will become part of our courtyard.  Seat plaques and bricks will be installed prior to the opening of the 2008 season.  Either a seat or a brick is a wonderful way to give a gift that will make a lasting impression.  Your participation is a guarantee that your name or the name of a loved one will become a part of the Peterborough Players future and its history.
